In 2008 Avro Motor Cars of Brooklands commissioned a limited run of special edition Ford GTs. Named the 720 Mirage, the intention was to build a limited run of 10 cars with a number of performance and aesthetic improvements.

In 2008 Avro Motor Cars of Brooklands commissioned a limited run of special edition Ford GTs. Named the 720 Mirage, the intention was to build a limited run of 10 cars with a number of performance and aesthetic improvements. The first two were both painted in Ford Electric Orange, the third car at the owners request was left in its original Centennial White with blue stripes – the classic American racing livery. Due to a lack of supply of new cars the Mirage project ended there with just three cars having been built. The first two cars are well known and remain in circulation in the UK, the third car was put into storage by the customer who ordered it in 2008. It has never been registered or changed hands. Until now.
The car has been dry stored for the last 13 years. The mileage is 693 almost all of this was covered under dealer plates in the US before import. The car was not registered in the US to our knowledge. The car has been serviced twice over the last 5 years.
